ABOUT me
I’m a self-taught artist and photographer based in London, working at the intersection of queer identity, domestic space, and the emotional labour of being seen. My work explores how masculinity can appear softer, more vulnerable, and more human when removed from performance and placed in the quiet spaces where people actually live.
Much of my practice involves photographing men I meet, using the home as both sanctuary and stage. These encounters form my ongoing project Private Rooms, Public Bodies, which looks at the tension between privacy, desire, and the pressure to be visible in a social-media-shaped world. I’m interested in how the body shifts between intimacy and self-protection, and how domestic space can reveal that negotiation.
Alongside this, Blue Holds the Body uses cyanotype and water to explore trauma, healing, and the slow work of reclaiming a body marked by violence. Both projects sit alongside my long-term series Looking for Light, a study of softness, resilience, and queer introspection that has grown into two self-published zines and two solo exhibitions.
I’m drawn to stillness, atmosphere, and the small gestures that carry emotional weight. My images aim to hold space—spaces for reflection, for ambiguity, for tenderness—quiet moments in a world that often demands clarity and noise.
