The personal journey
On a recent shoot with Ivo, we found ourselves discussing confidence and how nerves often accompany the start of a session. He admitted feeling apprehensive initially, yet by the end, he felt empowered in his vulnerability. There’s something profoundly impactful in that transition—from nervousness to confidence, from hesitation to strength.
Reflecting on my many photo sessions, I’m reminded of how the act of baring oneself, both literally and metaphorically, is a powerful moment of trust and openness. Capturing someone’s essence goes beyond the image itself; it’s a collaborative journey. For me, the process of co-creating these images is just as moving as viewing the final result.
