The Minotaur
Duality of Man and Beast
The Minotaur, being half-man and half-bull, embodies the struggle between civilisation and primal instincts. It questions what defines humanity versus monstrosity and the balance between rationality and savagery. The myth explores themes of inner darkness and how it is perceived by society.

This shoot combines past shoots I undertook using my tungsten light and playing with shadows and the male nude with an opportunity to collaborate with another artist. This collaboration has allowed me to have some fun and experiment.
The shoot was an absolute joy, and I love the results.
I am conscious that my main project is called Looking for Light, but I am also aware that there is darkness when looking for that light.
This shoot allowed me to explore the darkness further.
