True to life

This photograph is one of my absolute favorites, and I'm so proud to share it with you.

Captured in October 2021, it feels like a snapshot of a pivotal moment in history. It was a time when the world was slowly emerging from the shadow of the pandemic, and the echoes of daily death counts and the powerful reverberations of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 still lingered in the air.

In the midst of all this change, I found myself yearning for beauty. I wanted to capture the male form in its most raw and authentic state, exploring its vulnerability and strength. Every colour in this image needed to stand out, reflecting the vivid reality of what I saw and felt in that moment. The result is a visual representation of resilience, hope, and the search for beauty amidst uncertainty.
